Collection: HDBaseT HDMI Extenders

An HDBaseT HDMI extender is a device that allows you to extend HDMI signals over long distances using the HDBaseT technology. It enables the transmission of high-definition audio and video signals from a source device (such as a Blu-ray player, gaming console, or set-top box) to a display or projector located far away.

HDBaseT is a connectivity standard that uses category cables, such as Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a Ethernet cables, to transmit multiple types of signals, including HDMI, audio, control signals, and power, over a single cable. It offers several advantages over traditional HDMI extenders, such as longer transmission distances, support for higher resolutions, and the ability to transmit additional signals.

Additionally, HDBaseT HDMI extenders may support other features, such as bidirectional infrared (IR) control signals and Power over HDBaseT (PoH). IR control signals allow you to control the source device remotely using an IR remote control. PoH enables the transmission of power over the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for separate power cables for the extender units.

HDBaseT HDMI extenders are commonly used in various scenarios where long-distance HDMI signal transmission is required, such as home theaters, conference rooms, classrooms, and digital signage installations.
